Virtual Blog Tour - Beauty and the Beast by Shoshanna Evers

I'd like to welcome a Goddess Fish tour guest as my visitor today! Shoshanna will be awarding a
signed paperback of Beauty and the Beast (US ONLY) plus a $10 Amazon or Nook GC to a randomly drawn commenter during the tour, and an electronic copy of the book to six randomly drawn commenters during the tour. So be sure to follow the tour and comment; the more you comment, the better the chances of winning!

BLURB:

From bestselling erotica author Shoshanna Evers comes an erotic re-imagining of the classic fairytale, Beauty and the Beast.

With her father’s freedom at stake, Belle agrees to be the fearsome Beast’s prisoner in his enchanted castle. Held as his willing captive, Belle must submit to the Beast’s most primal desires to survive.

The Beast can’t let his little Beauty go free, not while there’s still hope that she might be the one to end his decade-long curse…and with true love’s kiss, return him to the Prince he once was.

Their story is one that begins with imprisonment—he in his monstrous body, she in a dungeon—but without this predicament, Beauty would never have met the Beast.

So we shall begin with what occurred on that fateful night when everything changed: when a lover was betrayed, a man deformed, and a castle shrouded in an enchantment…

Beast bared his fangs, and she cringed.

“Y-you’re smiling,” Belle said. It might take her a while to get used to that.

“I am. I have a proposition for you.” He gently smoothed her skirt back over burning bottom, and turned her around to face him. “I haven’t had a woman in my bed for a very long time. If you’d be willing to sleep with me, I’d reduce your lifetime imprisonment to one short year.”

Belle gasped, both at the idea of sleeping with him, and the idea of a life sentence being reduced to a year.

“You’d crush me to death,” she said, looking up at his towering hulk.

“I would not. Wasn’t I very gentle with you earlier, in your cell, when I made you feel so amazing, as you put it? Right before you—”

Right before she cut him and ran. Yes, she could recall something like that happening.

“It’s really not ‘willing’ if I must bed you for my freedom,” she pointed out.

“Forget I said anything,” he growled. “I’ll see you safely to your cell.”

“Wait!” She paused, frantic, not willing to give up her one chance of freedom. And also not willing to give up a very rational excuse for having more experiences like the one he’d given her earlier. “Three months. Then I can go.”

“Six months, and you do everything I say.”

“It’s—It’s a deal, Beast.” She sighed. “I’m yours for six months. And then you set me free and you forget all about me and my Papa.”

Beast smiled. Yes…definitely a smile. “I very much doubt I will ever forget you, beauty. But I’ll never harm you.”

Her thoughts immediately flew to her sore bottom, at the way he spanked her so thoroughly. Although, it was as he said. He’d hurt her, he had not harmed her. She would remember her punishment when she sat down for a day or two, but it wasn’t like he’d crippled her.

Or ate her. That was something to be grateful for.

Beast looked around his castle as though seeing it for the first time. “I suppose, if you’ll be staying awhile, we could arrange more suitable sleeping quarters for you.”

“In your bed,” she guessed.

“You’ll have your own suite.” He spoke louder, and Belle realized he was probably summoning the fairies. “Belle will need a suite, with a four poster bed, a bath, dresses in the armoire, and a fire ready for her.”

“The fairies can do all that?” she asked.

“Fairies?” He shook his head and began to say something, but it just sounded like growling to her.

“Pardon?”

“Never mind. If you’d like to believe we have a fairy infestation, then by all means. Believe what you will.” Beast gestured for her to follow him up the stairs and into the west wing of the castle.

She followed, mesmerized by the glorious tapestries and paintings that adorned the long hallways. Where had a beast gotten such wealth?

One oil painting, of a young man, about her age perhaps, caught her eye. His handsome face seemed to draw her in. Belle stopped in front of it, gazing at the portrait.

“He’s beautiful,” she whispered.

“Thank you,” Beast said. “I mean…I’m glad you appreciate the art in my castle.”

There was something familiar about the young man’s intense green eyes.

“Do I—do I know him?” she asked.

“Perhaps. You would have been a child when this portrait was taken.”

She looked at the inscription on the gold plaque beneath the portrait. It said “Prince Frederick,” and was dated ten years prior. That would have been when she was nine years old, and certainly never out and about, gazing into handsome princes’ green eyes.

“I suppose I don’t,” she said.

For some reason the thought made her sad. What had become of that young man? Perhaps the portrait was from another country. She’d never heard of a Prince Frederick before.

Beast kept walking down the corridor, so she followed.

“I imagine you ate everyone who lived in this castle,” Belle said. “That’s why they aren’t here, and…you are.”

Beast whirled around, and she was so caught off guard that she stumbled against his enormous chest.

“I’m sorry,” she gasped.

“That is not what happened.”

“The painting was ten years ago. Ten years ago, you changed. You told me so. I was merely…taking an educated guess.”

“There was nothing educated about it,” Beast said. “And if you’ll be staying under my roof for the next six months, you might want to reconsider playing guessing games if you want us to get along.”

She put her hand to her mouth. “I apologize.”

“We’re here.” He stopped in front of a large door, with the words “Belle’s Suite” etched into a small silver placard on the door. “If you need anything—”

“I’ll just ask the fairies,” she finished for him.

“Um, yes. Exactly.”

“Will I be sleeping…uninterrupted?” She blushed as she spoke the words, but she had to know if he’d be taking her up on their deal tonight.

“Dawn is almost here. Sleep as late as you’d like. I won’t bother you until you come to me.”

“But…what if I never choose to…come to you?”

Beast raised his heavy brow. “Your six months begins when you do. Take as long as you need.”

He held opened the door to her suite and she stepped inside, reveling at the sight of the large four poster bed with the flowing white linens, the glowing warmth of the fire burning in the fireplace, and most of all…the roses. They were everywhere, the scent beckoning her.

“Good night, beauty.”

Virtual Blog Tour - Birthday Wishes by Heidi Lynn Anderson

I'd like to welcome a Goddess Fish tour guest as my visitor today! Heidi Lynn will be awarding a $15.00 Amazon gift card to a randomly drawn commenter during the tour. So be sure to follow the tour and comment; the more you comment, the better the chances of winning!

BLURB:

Emily Samson’s awful thirtieth birthday consists of a solo bubble bath, burned microwave popcorn and a broken elevator – until both of her gorgeous landlords show up, making all her wishes come true.

Corporate whiz Emily Samson’s friends have deserted her for husbands and babies. So what does she do to celebrate turning the big 3-0? She buys herself popcorn and chocolate, refusing to settle for less than her ideal man. Or two. Her birthday wish is to be sandwiched between both her hunky landlords - as if that would ever happen outside of her most sensual, and secret, dreams.

Conner Walker and Jackson Smith are ready to find the one woman who can satisfy them both. However, finding that elusive someone to fulfill their needs has been like finding a snowflake in a snowstorm. When they rescue the normally uptight woman from 5B and discover her in cotton pjs instead of cherry red stilettos, they wonder if they’ve finally found the one strong enough to handle their demands.

http://goddessfishpromotions.blogspot.com/2013/12/virtual-blurb-blitz-tour-birthday.html

Excerpt:

The two men stepped into the now empty elevator. Jackson pushed the button for the fifth floor and
asked, “What do you think of our hot little tenant?”

Conner’s gut clenched and need filled his chest. “She’s sexy as all hell and I think under that stuck-up bitch act, there’s an adventurous woman that would be up for anything.” His dick twitched in his pants. “Why? Are you thinking about courting her for us?”

He’d dreamed of her hot little ass gripping his cock while Jackson filled her wet pussy, but the reality of a woman like her being open to having more than one man was a long shot. Women in her class wanted careers and, if they did get married, they barely had time for one husband—never mind two.

Jackson’s shoulders lifted. “Maybe. Part of me wants to fill her demanding mouth with my cock.”

Conner smiled. “And the other part?”

“Wants to run screaming, because my dick doesn’t know whether to stand at attention or shrivel up and hide.”

“I feel the same way, man.” Images of Emily rushing out her apartment to her fancy Wall Street job, making and losing millions for her clients filled his head. “I wonder what it would take to make her relax and let her hair down?”

“Probably not watching the Rangers beat the Bruins while having a beer,” Jackson said.

Virtual Blog Tour - Miss George's Second Chance by Heather Boyd

I'd like to welcome a Goddess Fish tour guest as my visitor today! Heather Boyd will be awarding an eCopy of Miss George's Second Chance to three randomly drawn commenters during the tour. So be sure to follow the tour and comment; the more you comment, the better the chances of winning!

BLURB:When desperately private writer Imogen offered to marry Peter Watson it wasn’t just to save a friend but to secure her own future. With her eyesight failing and no other prospects for marital bliss on the horizon, surely it wouldn’t be too horrible to marry without the benefits of love. But then Peter gains a title a week before they’re set to wed and all of Imogen’s expectations change.

Peter once believed that marriage to Imogen would solve his financial problems. He didn’t mind marrying for convenience and a large fortune when affection was within reach. Yet when he gains a title, an estate, and a fortune of his own the secretive writer releases him from their engagement so he might marry for love. Now he’s returned, unwed and unaware of changes in her life, should he do what is expected or listen to his heart instead?

http://goddessfishpromotions.blogspot.com/2013/11/virtual-blurb-blitz-tour-miss-georges.html

EXCERPT:Difficult situations required desperate measures. Imogen George--writer, spinster and pragmatist--steeled her heart to be as brutal as any heroine before her had ever been. “Have you sulked enough Mr. Watson?”

The man sitting on the dark Brighton shoreline surged to his feet and then faced her. “Hell’s bells, what are you doing here?”

Imogen clenched her hands together to hide their trembling. Standing on the dark beach, waves crashing around them, made her meeting with her best friend’s brother potentially romantic though she doubted it would be. “I have a proposition for you, Mr. Watson. Do sit down.”

She limped forward, annoyed that her clumsiness at dinner earlier in the evening at his house had robbed her of her dignity. It was not every day she pursued a man for conversation, even when he was her best friends elder brother. She was taking quite a risk being here but it was within her power to improve their lot. Peter Watson may lack the good sense to detect and seize his only chance for security, but Imogen would not. She had a plan for her life and Mr. Peter Watson would suit her needs perfectly.

When she found the place she meant to sit, Mr. Watson remembered his manners and gallantly swept his coat from his shoulders and spread it on the ground so she might rest upon it. She was pleased to see that even while desperate, he did retain some good qualities. Her hopes for a smooth resolution soared.

“Where is your chaperone, Miss George?” Mr. Watson asked suddenly, squinting into the darkness toward the township where their respective homes lay.

With her eyesight as poor as it was, Imogen couldn’t say for certain in which direction her reluctant chaperone, her brother Walter, stood, so she waved her hand airily in the direction she’d left him, hoping her companion would not notice or point out if she were utterly wrong. “Walter is over there. Never mind about him for the present. Do sit down so I may avoid suffering a pained neck from looking up at you.”

As Mr. Watson sank to the ground nearby, a weary sigh left his lips. “I am sorry I tumbled you over earlier tonight, Miss George. You have no idea how sorry.”

“I did say at the time not to concern yourself unduly.” In truth, Imogen was often clumsy outside her home. The objects of her surroundings were less likely to jump out and trip her up if she stayed in familiar territory. Friends frequently moved their furniture and if she could see with any degree of certainty, she would never have stood in Peter’s way to have been in danger. As it was, the world was a trifle fuzzy at times—tonight being one of those. “The collision was as much my fault as yours.”

How did Mr. Watson take her presence she couldn’t tell, but she was determined to press on regardless. There was no point beating about the bush when she judged speed was worth being somewhat more forward. She had a solution to offer Mr. Watson that would meet his immediate need and her future requirements. “Marry me.”

Her mouth grew dry and she swallowed, preparing for his response.

At her side, Mr. Watson furiously rubbed his ear. When he lowered his hand and did not turn his head in her direction, she repeated her proposal in a louder voice. “I asked you to marry me, Mr. Watson. What do you have to say about that?”

“That’s what I thought I heard,” he muttered. “I don’t need pity.”

Imogen heaved a heavy sigh. It had been too much to hope that he would leap on her proposal and agree immediately. A long discussion was undoubtedly necessary to secure his agreement. “I know. And I’m not offering you a bit of it. You need money. Immediately, or you will lose your home and perhaps be forced to debtor’s prison. Your sister’s heart is in danger of breaking if such a calamity should come to pass. I can help get you out of your predicament with little effort on your part and none at all on mine. It is a perfect arrangement.”

He dug a hole in the sand between them with his fingers. “Surely there is someone you fancy to marry rather than me?”

Virtual Blog Tour - The Changeup by Rhonda Shaw

BLURB:

Playing for keeps

After nine years of striking out in the dating department, Maddie Hamlin is throwing in the towel. But just as this mom resolves to remain single, she meets sweet and sexy pitching phenom Chase Patton at a family dinner. He’s perfect for her aside from the fact he’s only twenty-two.

Chase knows he should be focusing on his rookie year with the Detroit Rockets, but he can’t stop thinking about Maddie. He doesn’t care that the beautiful school counselor is twelve years older, and he’s already lost his heart to her adorable daughter. When an incredible date leads to an incredible night of passion, he knows he never wants to let her go.

But dating in the media spotlight is a whole new ball game. Maddie quickly discovers that not everyone accepts their unconventional relationship and that finding love may mean losing everything else…

Excerpt:

“Lift your left foot there, that’s right, and bring your arm back to here. You feel that?” Chase asked as he held her right arm up, his warm hand moving slowly from her elbow to her wrist. He angled his body and she could feel the feel length of him pressed against her, leaving almost nothing to the imagination. “And then you’re going to bring it through and follow through to here.”

Maddie nodded. Could she feel that? She could feel nothing but that! The breadth and solidness of his chest against her back as he leaned over her made her want to turn and worship its strength. Her butt was snug against his front and she didn’t even want to think about what she could bump into if she moved even the slightest inch. His breath was warm on her neck and his lips were right by her ear making her mouth water. Her skin started to tighten and tingle as the air seemed to clog in her throat, and she could feel her cheeks burning. Her reactions, all of them, were shocking. Had it been that long that any touch from a male was going to set her off? Did it not matter that he was many—way too many—years her junior? Her mind screamed, asking what the hell she was thinking, but her body was happily ignoring the alarms.

Virtual Blog Tour - Swept into the Darkness by LaTaeya Lane

I'd like to welcome a Goddess Fish tour guest as my visitor today! LaTaeya Lane will be awarding a $20 Amazon GC and an autographed paperback copy of the book (US ONLY) to a randomly drawn commenter during the tour. So be sure to follow the tour and comment; the more you comment, the better the chances of winning!

Angels are heavenly beings that impact the lives of humans every single day.  They are mystical, mysterious creatures that dwell in the spaces between this world and the next.  They watch over us, protect us and guide us throughout our lives.  Angels have a variety of abilities and purposes.  They are messengers, watchers, warriors, and influence us in many different ways.

Every angel has unique powers, and weapons that are unique to them as individuals.  There are also different races of angels.  But most importantly Angels are spiritual beings that can manifest into a physical form. They can walk among humans without anyone knowing who they really are. Some angels are meant to dwell in the Earthly Realm, while others are meant to dwell within the heavens.

All angels are not good.  Some angels wanted to be worshiped as gods, so betrayed and went against the light.  Those angels were punished for their betrayal and were thrown out of heaven—down to Earth.  Evil angels (also known as Dark Angels) work very closely with the legions of the darkness.  Their sole purpose is to spread darkness and evil within humanity, so they have the chance to weaken humanity and take over the earth.

There is a constant battle between good angels and evil angels.  They have been in conflict since the dawn of time, and each group does their best to influence the human world in ways that will benefit their cause.

I would like to take this opportunity to Thank Francesca’s Mindstream for hosting my tour, and allowing me to write a guest post.

Thank you for all of your support.

EXCERPT:I sat on the sofa resting and enjoyed the time I had alone. I closed my eyes, and inhaled the air, and then I became lost; literally.

I felt myself feeling weightless, and my essence started floating, then I flew in a whirlwind of a tunnel. My leg and arm were back to normal. The casts were gone and I felt no pain. My body flew up to the heavens and I saw the stars appear. I was able to reach out to them, feeling the heat emerge through my body. Then I saw the planets in their orbits and I even saw new planets I didn’t recognize. From where I was the Earth looked round but damaged, it was not the Earth I knew. Lightning flashed and thunder rumbled in the distance, but strangely I was not afraid. Suddenly, heavenly beings approached me. They appeared to be warriors, both male and female. They were dressed in roman armor with silver and gold as bright as the sun. There were others that huddled around the gleaming warriors, dressed in black, the deepest ebony I could imagine. Their eyes peered at me, and large transparent wings surfaced from their broad backs. The creatures were holding hands and hovering in a circle around the Earth with their heads bowed down to the world. They were magnificent.

One of them looked strangely familiar. He stood among the others, and was handsome and more beautiful than I could even fathom. What was this place? Why I was here, and what was he doing here with them? I had so many questions.

Slowly my consciousness came back to my body. My spirit drifted back through the tunnel of time and space and I slipped into my resting physical manifestation.

Excerpt:

A leather chair appeared from the gloom. Evan looked around, then took the seat, disappointed but intrigued. He could hear Jack’s voice, his laughter low and inviting. What the fuck? Was Gordon getting in on action while he had to watch? Then he heard Jenna’s annoying giggle and realized the club must be making her watch too, only she got to do it with her date. He sighed, leaned back, and prepared himself to be underwhelmed.
“No,” a sexy, rough female voice broke through the clamor in his head. It must have surprised everyone because all the people on the couches glanced up. “I want him. Out here.” Evan looked straight at her and saw the hot-as-shit Domme point her bullwhip right at him. He gulped, actually looked around like a dork, thinking there must be someone behind him. He was no sub.
She crooked her finger, her ruby-red moist lips drawing his gaze and making him feel positively hypnotized. His cock kept up its painful pressure along the inside of his zipper. A drop of sweat formed on his temple but he couldn’t move his arms to brush it away. All he knew… was her.
“Mr. Adams,” the disembodied voice said. “Your presence has been requested by our Mistress. Please. Do not make her wait.” The sheer curtain separating him from the crowd parted as he stood. Shoving his hands in his pockets and no longer aware of anything at all but what he wanted right now, he took the few steps down to the main floor.
“Stop!” She held up a hand. “Do not come any closer until I tell you.” She snapped her fingers. A tall man dressed only in leather pants emerged from somewhere to her left. A woman approached him, smiling and holding out a tray filled with… He stared, then shook his head, backing away, his brain on fire and his body in flight mode. “Where are you going, slave?” The woman cracked her whip. Evan sensed its bite near his cheek.
“I am no one’s slave,” he croaked out, sounding like a whiney kid.
“Perhaps. But I am not just anyone.” Before he could catch a breath, the woman was in his space. He kept his hands at his sides, knowing if he touched her he would be punished. Her full lips were inches from his. She leaned in, placed a tender kiss on his cheek, then stepped back.
“The Mistress has chosen!” the voice boomed and the room heaved a collective sigh. Evan whipped his head around, suddenly terrified and hornier than he had been in his entire existence. He closed his eyes as a loud whooshing sound started echoing around in his head in perfect time with his heartbeat. He held his ground, biting the inside of his cheek raw to keep from falling to his knees and kissing his way up her shiny patent leather shoe. The woman stood, the cape-like cloak draped around her tall, perfect body. He couldn’t move and had no idea what to do now anyway.
She took two long steps and was back in his space, tugging his tie, lifting it free of his collar and letting her lips linger over his, tempting, teasing, and bringing his body to full attention from his scalp to his toes. What in the hell was going on here? He was a sub? But the whooshing sound would not stop; it deafened him and he started to shake. The woman put her hands on his shoulders and kept kissing him just enough to make him insane. Disembodied hands removed his suit coat. Then, with a powerful jerk, She ripped his dress shirt into two scraps of expensive cotton that hung from his wrists.
His nipples hardened, his skin broke out in goose bumps. More bodiless hands unfastened his cuffs and took what remained of his shirt away. The woman kept smiling, trailing her fingertip down his chest. Evan’s lungs hurt he was breathing so hard.
“You are very…” She leaned in and touched her tongue to a nipple, making him gasp. “In need of…” She licked her way across his chest to the other hardened nub of flesh and bit, hard, making him yelp and grunt to distract himself from coming in his trousers. “A lesson in what it means to wield control.”
She unfurled the whip, keeping her lips on his skin, licking and nibbling her way up his neck as he stood, fists clenched and teeth grinding. Then she bit down on his lower lip, bringing tears to his eyes and yet more urgency to fuck. What was happening to him?
“Sit.” She shoved him down. Evan dropped, hoping someone had put a chair there. His ass hit leather and wood. Watching mesmerized as she dug a sharp heel into his still-covered thigh. The pulsing behind his zipper had reached a level he’d never experienced. It was as if he were already coming, in his head, trying to relieve the pressure without actually ejaculating. This was a total goddamn trip. He sighed, looked up at the ceiling.
“Don’t look away from me, slave.” Her rough voice made the whooshing sound return between his ears. She snapped her fingers. Two nearly naked women scuttled to his side, undid his belt, unzipped his pants, and pulled off his shoes while removing his trousers, leaving only his tie and boxers.
“Holy fucking mother of… ah!” he cried out, unable to stop when the woman stood over him, her warm, inviting sex right at his eye level. Other hands rubbed, teased him through his underwear. But he kept his eyes trained up as he sucked in a lungful of her heady scent.
“You think this is all there is, don’t you, boy?” The woman’s voice filled his head. “Your giant cock and what you can do with it.” She stepped away from him, flicking her whip at his inner thighs, breaking up the pleasure with a bite of pain that made him curse and lean forward. The lovely, soft hands that had been on his aching shaft disappeared. “Oh no you don’t. You sit; you take, and you do not come. For any reason. If you do, I will make you very,” she slid the handle of the whip along his reddened inner leg, “very sorry. Are we clear? Dear?”

BLURB:

With the help of a bet, an eight-hundred-year-old marriage contract, and a spell, ex-SBS soldier Will might just have enough in his arsenal to capture Meghan’s heart.

Since arriving in Little Glen, Scotland, Meghan Kennedy’s life has got decidedly more interesting. She enters into a bet with hunky ex-SBS soldier, William MacKenzie, discovers an ancient marriage contract and to top it all off, she learns that she had a spell cast on her…eight hundred years before she was even born. None of it matters, because she refuses to make the same mistake twice. Will’s hard body and sexy grin don’t matter, his beautiful hypnotic eyes don’t matter, and it doesn’t matter that every time they kiss her body calls out for his, as though denied of his touch for hundreds of years.

Ex-SBS soldier William MacKenzie is disciplined, trained to be an efficient soldier and he takes the same approach with his life as he does his business. Then Meghan arrives, with her fiery temper and hair to match, all he can think about is Meghan. Her feisty temper bemuses him, her beauty astounds him and her stubbornness annoys the hell out of him. Lucky for him, he doesn’t know how to quit, he can be just as stubborn and occasionally ruthless, and he will use any means necessary to get her. Of course the ‘means’ at his disposal just happen to be a bet, a marriage contract and an ancient spell, but if in the end Meghan belongs to him, who is he to argue?

EXCERPT:

Meghan began to get dizzy looking back and forth between the four men. She put up her hands and said quite firmly, “I have both my father and Duncan’s eye colour, and I look more like my mum, but my temperament and apparently my hair…are from my grandmother, or so I’ve been told.” With that said she batted her eyelashes at them innocently.
Hamish and Stewart began to laugh as Ray chuckled. “That you do, lass. And do you know you would be my granddaughter, if old Duncan here hadn’t come along and stolen Ruth from me?”
She had never heard that before. Turning, she looked to Duncan for the truth, but all she saw was murder in his green eyes.
Meghan eyed Ray. She had met her grandmother Ruth only once, but it was so long ago the memory had faded. But she did know her grandmother had been a beautiful and spirited woman, so she had a hard time believing that this stocky little man had almost stolen her away from Duncan.
“Good thing for me you’re not.” She playfully waved her hand and chuckled the rest of her insult. “I’m not a big fan of heels.”
    “Meghan!” Duncan scolded.
Will coughed trying to hide his laugh. Okay so maybe she shouldn’t have insulted him but she didn’t like what the little twerp had said.
She raised her hands. “That’s not what it sounded like…I meant…” She looked at the men standing in front of her and groaned inwardly. Ah crap!
“Look, it’s just that we Kennedy women like our men tall, dark, handsome, with a”—she struggled for the right word—“commanding presence. Short and sweet just isn’t our thing. But you seem funny. Funny’s good too.” She noticed that Duncan was still scowling. “What? I apologised.” This time Will laughed outright.
“Oh for God’s sake!” She was just about to give Ray a proper apology when Hamish cut her off.
“Tall, dark, handsome, with a commanding presence, eh? Does that sound like someone we know?” Hamish gave his friends a nod.
What was he talking about? All four men shifted their gaze behind her. She froze.     “What? No, no. That’s not what…”
    “He is tall,” Ray confirmed.
“And he does have dark hair,” Stewart pointed out.
Meghan gaped, looking back and forth between the men, her heart starting to race.
“Hold it!” she said loud enough to get their attention. “You misunderstood what I…”
    “No, we didn’t,” Ray beamed.
What was wrong with her? She had described her perfect man with him standing right behind her. But was that enough? Nooooo, she just had to say it out loud and in front of three complete strangers and Duncan.
“How about you, Will? Do you know anyone who fits that description?” Stewart asked.
    “Yes, surprisingly I do.”

AUTHOR Bio:

I am a full-blooded Canadian, right down to the maple syrup running through my veins. I enjoy watching hockey, but despise skating...and the cold.  I enjoy a good helping of Tourtiere with a side of Poutine as must as the next person, yet I am only bilingual when it comes to swear words.  I am proud to say I survived my token shot of Newfie Screech, although I did refuse to kiss the Cod - that is never going to happen - and I openly admit, that I fell in love with the Rocky Mountains the first time I saw them.

I have many occupations written down in my passport, mom, wife, author...zookeeper!  However, I have to say that writing is by far the easiest part of my day.

I have three small -but legal- addictions: bed lines, lavender, and books.  All of which, are replenished on a regular basis.  Reading into the wee hours of the morning, is one of many bad habits, next to spontaneously rearranging furniture and randomly painting rooms in my house.
